Default S&W 6906 High Cap Magazines

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I'm attempting to locate high capacity magazines (20 rounds and over) for my dads S&W 6906. He swears up and down that he has seen them and used them however I am having a hell of a time locating them. Does anybody have any tips?

The 5906 mags work in the compact 6906. The 20 rounders are almost universally crap. Get a few 15 round S&W factory mags

Try the Mec Gar...
The 17 round mags are Mec Gar's patented method of adding two rounds to a standard magazine.
I like their quality... I haven't had any problems.

You will note that they also have a longer 20 round... I any 20 rounder is going to work, it would be this one..
Try one out and let us know !

Mec Gar was the OEM manufacturer for 5906 magazines. The ones marketed under the Mec Gar name are identical to the S&W magazines except for the markings.

They work perfectly in my 5906.
