Default Used Beretta 92FS Value

Hello all,
I really want to purchase a Beretta 92FS someday and came across a used one at a local pawn shop.It was not beat up,but looked pretty used and includes 2 10 round magazines for $569.I have seen these brand new at my LGS for $550 and includes 2 15 round magazines.I have also seen the M9s for $599.
Now,I know pawn shops have to make money but isn't $569 wee bit much for a very used 92FS??I have heard of people buying these used for around $300 or so.
I did offer $300 up front but he smirked and gave me that "are you nuts?" look.

OP, so what are you asking? It sounds like you answered your own question. I'da looked at the Pawn Shop guy, and TOLD him he was nuts. Way too much by $200 or so.

Basically you can get a new one if you look hard enough for around 6 or so.

All these guys are right... Too expensive... I bought my 92 F for 300 used... If you can get one for 350 or 400 that's still fine... But for 600 you might as well go new

Very true. I bought nib 92A1 for $650. It's my opinion unless you know the original owner buy new unless it's a rare find.

The pawn shop I used to frequent the most back in Georgia had prices on guns that I thought were too high. I used to always ask "What's the best price you can do on this?" If I had cash in hand and was ready to buy if they gave me a good deal, then they were happy to give me a better price. After a few transactions and they realized I was a serious customer, I could ask to see something and they would tell me not to pay attention to the price on the tag.

I seen a used inox 9mm go for around 450 at a auction last week. They sometimes have new 92fs that go for that too.

I got a barely used m9 for $450. And when I say barely used I mean maybe a couple hundred rounds through it.
