Default Factory Mags? what say you?

the other day I was browsing gunbroker, came across an ad that intrigued me. I almost made the purchase, but decided to hold off because of uncertainty.

I'd never seen a factory Beretta mag with such a high gloss finish, nor have i seen them drilled to show every 2 rounds on the count. my 92 mags are drilled for 5, 10, and 15, my 10 round 96 mags are drilled for 5 and 10, and the factory 11 round mag I have is drilled for 5 and 11.

See the pics:

Because of curiosity, I went ahead and contacted Beretta directly to ask them their opinion, which was about useless, because they didn't answer 2 of the 3 questions I asked, all they said was "well it appears to be a factory mag, the stampings are on the correct side of the magazine"

So, have any of you seen this kind of a finish on a beretta magazine? or seen them drilled to show every 2 rounds?

I think those mags will are for and will work in the Beretta 96 and the Beretta 90-TWO. PB is Beretta's factory stamp. The ones that you found are good to go, no worries, as far as I can tell from photos. Here are some more, I also rarely come across them...

Ive got 10 mecgar 18+2 mags they work awesome. Same ease to load the first ones as the last ones. Slightly better feed angle than the 15 rounders my gun came with.

Agree, Mecgar mags are quality! I believe they make OEM mags for Sig "or did at some point", and a few others brands as well. I'd be happy to buy them if I needed anymore mags.

I haven't seen the finish before but the markings do look correct. For ease of mind, both of my 10 round mags for my 92 look just like that, markings every 2 rounds (2,4,6,8,10).

The mags for my 92A1 are high gloss black, have the PB, and have a hole for every two except from 14-17 (4,6,8,10,12,14,17)
