Not to hijack the thread but anyone know how to remove the right side slide lever, I'm trying to install my low profile lever and I can't get the right side one off?

I have no right side slide lever on my gun? Are you talking about the perp. view or the defender view?

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm hijacking the thread. *facepalm*

Britinusa, you'll get many more responses if you start you own thread.

Just shot some +p+ rounds from Buffalo Bore to test, and recoil was nothing to handle out of the compact. Of course it fed perfectly. Will have these (flat nose FMJ) loaded when I take this gun in the woods with me. Not ideal bear protection, but better than a sharp stick.

Took my wife shopping for her first handgun last year, she gravitated right to the PX4 compact in 9mm. She handled several small revolvers, and other semi's, and kept coming back to the PX4. She really likes it, as does our daughter who probably shoots it more than my wife.

I was never a big fan of polymer framed guns, I did own and shoot an XD-9 for a while, but I like my wheel guns, and all metal semi's....(92FS & Kimber 1911).... lately I rarely shoot the 1911 because compared to the 92, it's a major pain in the a$$ to clean. I'm selling the Kimber to a friend and using the money to buy a full size PX4 in .45acp.

Of all the PX4 models the Compact in 9mm is my favorite, to me it's the perfect size. The only Beretta that I like even better is the 92 FS Compact "L", but it's also a much more expensive pistol. Your choice of the PX4 Compact will serve you well.
