You can use a full size 92 magazine in the Compact but it will protrude slightly. The 13 round mags that come with it are flush fit, but it's good to be able to use the full size mags in a pinch.

The sights are three red dots that they use on INOX Model 92s. They were perfectly regulated from the factory.

I just put some money down on a Beretta 92FS Compact that I found at a local Gander Mountain last night. The toatal ($799) is a little bit more that than I wanted to pay for it but I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it. Does anyone know where I can get parts for it. Im probably gonna change out the plastic parts for steel. Im also looking to put the elite hammer on it as well.

The only plastic on the inox or any 92/m9 is the grips.

If your talking about the trigger its metal coated in in a thin polymer shell. When you get it stick a magnet to it. Its metal.

Thanks Jon.. Do you know where one would get the elite hammer, and do you know who has the best selection out there on compact grips.

Pachmyer or hogue both make decent grips but the factory ones work for my needs if i ever break them thats where i would look first. As for the hammer... no idea i dont really like the skeleton hammer look so i never pursued it.

Get you some spare mecgar 20 rounders first. Mecgar makes the beretta factory mags.
