Beretta used to be my top choice for handguns. I think they make a fine product. The problem is in their support of their products. They pick and choose which ones to make accessories and parts for. Now, if you want to buy one stock, and keep it that way, you're good. But if you buy one and want to modify it with parts you hear about, good luck. Go to the Beretta Forum, and take a look at all the threads about people asking where they can get parts. Even very simple things like mag well inserts for the CX4 can be very difficult to come by. In some cases, the parts are not even made at all. Yes, you can probably buy aftermarket parts in some cases, but some of them, like mags, have a very questionable reliability rate. Others you can modify to fit your needs, but you shouldn't have to. Anyway...
I don't see what the problem is. Everybody is being nice, and getting along, and I, for one, am learning stuff. So, if you don't like the discussion, don't look at the thread. Or, simply cut to the chase, and close it.
Is there an age limit for a thread, after which we kill it?
