By the way, $650 is a fair price for NIB Beretta 92/96. I believe Beretta's MSRP is just over $700. I paid $619 plus tax for my new M9 about a month ago (exact same as the 92FS, but with the military "M9" markings instead of "92FS" markings)

I'm glad I bought the 92FS it seems I'm the only one at the range with a Beretta, I guess my spring is ready to be replaced have 2000 rounds and counting not one issue, not one! Love the gun looking at the PXstorm next. I paid $599 plus tax in Compliant state of NJ back in 2/13 haven't seen any since.

My 92fs is dead nuts reliable, great range gun and a soft shooter. $650 is a decent price. I think I paid around $600 for mine. I also have the 92fs cousin the PX4 Storm and thats also a nice shooter. Bought the PX for the wifey, but really it was for me!

Just bought one - smooth trigger and built solid.

What did y'all think of this gun?
My wife fell in love with the 92 a few months ago. The LGS had one we were gonna buy, I think for $550ish (used to be a rental). We went one day, it was gone. Found a Storm instead for I think a similar price, if memory serves. Left, came back a few hours later intending to buy it, and was of course gone. So instead we bought a full sized M&P in 9mm. She loves it now. Her only hesitation at first was that she wanted a thumb safety. But now she doesn't mind it, and sees the possible benefit to not having one. I liked her M&P so much that I decided to buy myself one in the compact, and my mother-in-law a full sized as well...

We'll prolly still get a Beretta someday tho.
