Does anybody else have an "X2" on the bottom of the slide? I was wondering what it meant? The picture isnt great. But the X isnt a well done x. It could be a slash through something or maybe a backwards K.

mine has an X2 also. most liekly its the year of manufacture. euro gun companies like letter number codes for dating things.

if the serial starts with "BER" its made in america mostly. anything else its made in italy mostly.

Ok awesome. Thank you! I, for the life of me, could not figure out why it was there. And it is in fact a BER serial number. I think all of the new inox compacts are made Stateside, but I don't know for sure.

If you'd be willing, will you check and see if it has the "X2" on the bottom of the slide rail? I'm curious.
