Hk obsession

My obsession with HK has begun. I picked up a USP compact .40 a while back and have fallen in love.

Now I just need to decide which HK to buy next..,
P30 9mm? USP or HK45? Maybe a USPc in 9mm...

I can't decide!

HK addiction could get expensive....I dont have much experience with them, but my brother has the USPc9, Iv'e put a few boxes thru it, really liked it, so i guess that would be my choice......:)

Go get the P30 or rent all of them first and then get the P30

I really like the P30, but it doesn't come in .45. I already have several 9s and .40s which is what kinda drew me to the USP 45 and the HK45.

That being said, it might be time to trim the fat of some of my lesser used 9s...

Do that. You will not be disappointed, the p30 is an excellent pistol..

Had a 91,
if I were to buy another H&K,
it would be in a .45.

I love my full size USP.

HKs DO tend to follow each other back to your house---that said, they are VERY SATISFYING to own and shoot---when at the club with other shooters, they ALWAYS want to try the HKs---then a few weeks later, you see them at the range with THEIR new HK! Yeah, they cost more than most guns, but why not own some of the finer things in life?

Not exactly the same gun but built on many similar concepts, the HK45 is essentially the .45 version of the P30. So if you want a .45 it is going to be your gun.

I would ONLY get the P30 if I actually wanted a 9mm handgun.

If possible, I'd rent first though. There are some differences between the USP in .45 and the HK45. Considering the price it's worth the rental fees to be sure. Just because the HK45 is newer doesn't mean it's better and there are features about both that I've seen criticized.

I purchased my first HK in July. I bought the HK45 and it is the most naturally fitting gun I have as well as the most accurate .45. If you thinking about the P30 (9mm), it has the same grip. I also like the V1 setup on my HK45 which allows "cocked & locked ".
IMHO, this pistol is a natural shooter. The only negative I believe this HK has is its capacity....10 + 1 rounds.
