I upgraded my stock USP. They came out with the tactical several years after I had my USP, kind of wanted one but was too happy with mine..

So I did some research, prices are not that bad $225. for a new match grade, O ring, threaded barrel that is a drop in replacement.

Once Michigan broke down and legalized suppressors it became a DUH factor for me. I wanted (and went through the process) a silencer. Osprey made what I wanted, pricey but fit the guns profile like a glove, no raised sights required so I could keep my Tri J cons (yet another mod) 1 year later and

The big surprise was the accuracy difference.... at 100 yards the stock barrel was good, I could put all 12 CM on a silloette...
New barrel I tightened up the groping and could do head shots....
