Usp 9f v1. Almost went with the 40 but after about 6 hours of research went with the 9

I prefer .45 ACP - not a big fan of .40 cal but the police seem to like it. However, I do like to shoot and 9mm is definitely cheaper to shoot. Is this a range gun ? CC ? Home Defense ?

If you really want to shoot cheaply, you'll have to get into reloading. With the current ammo shortage & price fluctuations - may not be a bad idea.

Believe me I've considered it. Just expensive to get in to and I don't have this space with my current living arrangements

OP: Did you handle both the USP & P30 ? They hired 1911 specialist to help them with design. HK missed the 1911 bus but they stayed to help w P30 - most of the changes are ergonomic.

Personally, I don't like the decocker on the slide or the smaller controls.

Yeah, usp, p30 and p2000.. liked them all, but usp seemed like as good a place as any to start. Figure if I like hk enough I'll end up owning the other two eventually anyways lol.

You'll def like HK. I'm been wanting a P30 since I held one at a gun show. I'd like to compare the HK45 to my USP .45 v1 as well.
