Default Ruger SR9 C FTE??

Anyone own an SR9 C?
I purchased on a few weeks ago. Love it!! Also have the 17 round mag. Took it out today , and was shooting red box Federals. The 100 round pack . I have been through about three boxes of these with out any problems. Had several FTE??
Anyone else have this problem?

a mag issue would cause FTFeed, would be less likely to cause FTE. but its possible. stop running the 17rnd mag and see how it goes. also contact ruger they have wonderful CS. if its the ejector, or the mag. they should be able to send you new replacement parts.

Thanks or the advice. I will shoot a bunch of rounds with the 10 rd mag. And see what happens with the same ammo.

Ive used 17-rd mags for a while now and never had an issue. The only FTFeed ive had was due to a bad reload round. If you shoot reloads, that might be your issue.

I had FTE's and stove pipes with my SR9c when it was new - 10 & 17 rd mags. Put in a Galloway Precision guide rod with 12# spring and it now functions flawlessly.

I had some FTEs the first 75 to 100 rounds, and none since, with either mag. I have attributed it to the break in period. I now have about 4000 rounds through my SR9c with no further issues.

I have only shot about 500 rounds through my SR9C but no issues at all so far. I use both mags that came with the gun (17 and 10 round).

I just bought a new 17 round mag because I wanted an extra one. Haven't tried that one yet.
