Well, there are differences but I don't know them all. The Mark I was the original model and I don't know much about it other than it is a nice .22 pistol. There are some differences that I know of between the Mark II and the Mark III. The Mark III has a threaded barrel so it can accommodate a suppressor. The Mark III also has magazine loaded indicator and magazine disconnect that prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed.

Thanks Winds. I own a Mark III but never knew the difference. I don't have a threaded barrel though I live in Massachusetts.

Well, maybe it was on option an the Mark III. JonM sold me his Mark II because he wanted a III. He has a suppressor on his.

Biggest differences are the 1 did not have a bolt hold-back feature after the last shot. The 2 added a slide release that locks the slide open after the last shot. The 3 changed the mag release from the heel on the 1s and 2s to a 1911 style mag release. The 3 also got new "saftey" features like a loaded chamber indicator and a safety that will not allow the gun to fire without a mag.

There are other smaller changes, but those were the biggest changes.
