Ruger 22/45 - I need some info. please

I just bought a used Ruger 22/45 Target Model.

It's in good condition, but other than the serial # on it - I have no idea if it's a Mark II or III.

Or when was it made?

Any advise on how to find this out.

I want to buy a couple of mag's for it

Do the 22/45 mags fit both Mark II & Mark III 22/45"s or are they different?

Thank you for your help.

call Ruger customer service they can tell you everything based on that serial number

Or go to the Ruger website. You can punch in your serial number and learn when it was made , etc.

How about a pic of it.

...and download an owners manual if you don't have one.

You'll need it...and double jointed wrists for re-assembly. ;)

Tack

May be wrong, but do not think there IS a Mk II 22/45 Target, only a Mk II 22/45. There IS a Mk III 22/45 Target, and a Mk II (no 22/45) target. And no, generally mags will not interchange. See Ruger's website for date of manufacture.

I own a MKII 22/45 Target. Stainless, bull barrel with adjustable target sights. The manual it came with is for Ruger Mark II autoloading pistols
Standard, target, government target, competition, and 22/45 models. Mine was manufactured in 1999.
