Note that after bore sighting with my laser at home, my first 3 shots at 50 yards were at 2 o'clock in the black.

My second group, after adjusting 17 clicks to the left, were right-on at 50 yards.

My third group, at 100 yards, were dead center.

From then on I tested the settings on the Redfield BattleZone 3-9x42mm scope on the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch.

As the barrel warmed, the MOA spread to about 2 1/2 MOA.

This gives a lethal accuracy out to 500 yards with this carbine.

I'm happy.

Send the Zombies !!!

I saw a Rifle Exactly like this( similar scope, same furniture configuration ) at the Gun Show I did on Sunday. The guy selling it had about 9 different Mags(2-10's'4-20's and 3-30's), the bipod, Lens covers, a Bag, and 150 Rds. Of Ammo, he wanted $1250...

The rifle is about $1000.

The scope about $200.

The bipod about $25.

The mags are about $50 each.

So that's not a bad price.

Redfield makes a very good Scope. I have one on one of my Springfield's( the other one has a Leatherwood ART). I have a Bushnell on my Mini. Would like to change it out for a Burris of some type, possibly the AR-536 or AR-322 Electronic Ranging Prismatic...

Boy am I surprised. I have seen those mini 14s in all weather configuration going as low as 595 on rare occasion and hovering around 650-700 where I have shopped...

Just bought the kids a new Ruger 10/22. This is their first gun. Should be fun
