About like you would think.
Not so bad with 44 specials but when you go mag you don't want to shoot it very long.

My first Ruger, just picked it up about 14 hours ago. My very first Ruger. The LCP. Since Illinois is in the process of getting conceal carry and my county has already made conceal carry legal, I decided it's time to get my ccw and decided this was the one for me.

Have you ever been out to the Prescott factory? Just curious if they have a retail store there?

I have not because Prescott is on the other side of the Mtn. Range from me and I don't drive because of my back & Legs not working right, And DW can't deal with the Winding Roads because of her vertigo & Migraines, so we have to take the long way around to get there(about an Hr. as opposed to 20 Mins..)so we have only Been there 5 times since We moved here...Maybe we'll get there this summer. As for Retail, I think it's only by Phone(or Web) and only accessories! But So Many LGS's here in the region carry their stuff.......Now if only they'd get some more Magazines in the Sales channel!!! I need those 9 Rd. LC9 Mags....Ordered 2 more SR9 17 Rounders & 3 10 Rounders just so i can have a Full "Battle" load JIC....
Notice the BIG gap between "MSRP" and what the "Silliness" has done to actual Retail Pricing??
