Default Picked up SR45 yesterday

Just got it yesterday and shot 150 rounds through it. What a sweet gun, it shoots as nice as my SR9. Kick is much less then my 1911 and I will be interested to see if it eats all the discount ammo like the SR9 does.
Right out of the box it was shooting really low and when I checked the rear sight I found it was cranked all the way down, after playing with it a little I was able to bring it on center.
The SR22 and SR9 are my favorite to shoot. I have a feeling that after I shoot the 45 more it is going to be right up there with the other 2 SRs.
Now that I have my semi autos, I need to work on the Ruger revolvers. Top of the list is the SP101 357 mag 3". Hoping I get lucky like I did with the 45 and find one.

Nice. I have the SP101 357 3". When you shoot that gun at the range & shoot it well, you will gain a few observers. In addition to the SP101, I have the SR22, LC9, Mini 14, and the 10/22 takedown. I've been thinking about that .45.

I looked at the SR 45 today. It surprised me as I have been looking at a Sig P220 and an HK usp 45. For half the money, it did not seem to lack that much from the other pistols. any thoughts?

i saw an add for it and went wow... talk about running the line a a popular model. haha..

i thought it might kick more than a 1911 because of the poly frame vs the steel frame. but good to hear it doesnt.. i bet my friend will buy one sometime down the road.

No complaints about mine, shoots really nice and takes all makes of ammo I have tried so far. The SRs are also very easy to break down for cleaning and as you mentioned the price was right.

Exactly.
I have recently started reloading and I just about have the right mix where I am becoming very accurate. It has taken pretty much anything I have been giving it. Really like this gun and the SR9.
