P95

Just thought I would start the thread, thinking about my first handgun and that one looks inexpensive. Figured at least a couple people around here have one and just might also have an opinion... Maybe even some picks...

I have the Ruger P95 and it an awesome handgun! It's a full size firearm and a bit on the "chunky" side but flawless functioning! You won't go wrong with the P95!

i have the newer p395. its alittle bulky, but its had no issues. take down is easy as far as steps but takes a little bit to get them right. at least it did for me. a few mtrys and i got the hang of it. shoots decent. will keep all the rounds inside 8'in at 15 yards rapid fire. has a pretty stiff trigger, but it is smooth

The Ruger P95 is an EXCELLENT first handgun. It is a full size and a bit on the hefty side but a great platform to learn on. It was my first handgun and on of the few that I wish I had NEVER of traded away. Recoil is very manageable and returning to point of aim is a cinch. I think you will enjoy!

I have a P95. It doesn't get shot a lot. But that is because I have too many guns in my collection. I probably have 400-500 rounds through it. Flawless so far.

P 95 is a good choice very dependable for a reasonable price.

I have a PD95 that I bought about 11 or 12 years ago. Dependable so far. I have about 500 rounds through it so far.
I understand you cant buy a new PD in Calif now tho. Seems Ruger did not submit one to keep the gun on the "ok to buy" list in Calif.

I have heard that Ruger may discontinue the P95 before too long. Stick with the SR series instead.

I have a P95 and I love it. It was my first gun and you can just keep feeding it. The recoil is more than manageable. I have small hands and it's still pretty comfortable. Love this one!
