Default New Ruger forum.....

Here is a new Ruger forum owned by Groupbuilders. It's a whole forum dedicated to Ruger owners and their love for those guns. How about joining up there. Be one of the grass roots members and help build this forum.

One can never belong to too many firearms forums, right?

Be patient and proactive. It is very new. It's up to us to liven it up there by spreading the word and posting.

I don't understand why a Moderator for a forum would want to suck members and activity out of it to a another site?

Forums are a zero sum game. any activity that one gains is lost to the other.
posts beget posts and posts lost to that other forum will never come back.
On the contrary that other forums success will suck activity out of this one.

A generalist site such as this one is particularly vulnerable to have its sub forums destroyed by people leaving to specialty forums.

If I was the owner of this site I would be very concerned.

We spend SO MUCH money on guns to have redudancy "just in case" they get outlawed.
We spend SO MUCH on extra ammo so we will always have a stash "just in case" its outlawed..

If we just spent half of that money on supporting the NRA, we wouldn't have to worry about maintaining a stash "just in case"

Maybe for the same reason that preparedsociety is mentioned so often here. Owned and operated by the same admin.

AND... Members there will likely refer to and mention members here, bringing more fresh meat for us to chew on...
