Nice firearm. I acquire my convertible in '68. I believe the asking price was $69 and some cents. Ruger advertising at the time even included the suggested manufacturers price.
It shows a lot of holster wear as it continues to do what it always has- shoot reliably and accurately. I have chosen not to do the safety upgrade that Ruger offers because teaching firearms safety I desire a single action to teach students the load five (load one, skip one, load four, cock and carefully lower the hammer on an empty chamber). I trust yours will serve you as well as mine has served me.
