Nice! Congrats! Have you shot it yet?

It was time for a new signature. This is what you get.

It does my heart good to see that you bought it off your dad...but I really like that you said it's a "pretty old gun." I'm still chuckling over that! :D

Congrats on your purchase! Hope it shoots well & you shoot it often!

That i have not figured out yet. Im thinking about going with an inside the waist band because the gun is fairly heavy

Look into a good belt to start out with. That is your foundation, whether you carry OWB or IWB. I currently carry OWB, but have contacted my favorite holster maker to see about some IWB options.

You don't have to spend a ton of money on them, but don't skimp on the belt and holster.

What does a nice belt usually run?

$70 plus. I am a big fan of this dude: http://www.jasonwinnie.com/new-category/

I got the double 1.5", and a holster from him. All I can say is I am impressed with the quality, price, and customer service.

As far as the picture, I hate to see polymer in such nice leather, so, added a nice lever action gun to even it out.
