I want to do a color change on the SR22 I have yet to purchase. What is the BEST way to do that?

Sorry bro didn't see this thread again until just now. I'm going to try and get a new can of the Dura-Coat. It might be the simplest way to DIY,..we 'll see..

Let me know, even though the SR-22 is on hold. We bought Glocks instead.

Cerakote. Figured you'd like it. I'll probably do the LC9 at some point.

I saw both Cereakote and DuraCoat at the show. You can buy the DuraCoat in a two stage can for less then $30,....I put in for a sample test can, and they are only giving out Flat Black or deep blue...I took the black, as I have a few guns that have holster wear( my Smith 439, and my BHP) I want to try it on...

Default LC9 Range Time

Believe it or not, but I was shooting mine on Monday and hitting at 20 and 25 yards, but it was also the first time I was trying to shoot at those distances with the LC! imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1392883257.528600.jpg

This is one of my Reactive 3-D targets from "do it all outdoors" also in the pic was a piece of trashed composite building materiel that we found on site, and put it in our carry out trash. This was @ 20 yds(60 Ft.). Broke it in 3, chipped the brick, and knocked the Square back....115Gr. PMC FMJ ammo thats about 2 yrs old...
I also shot some of my other 9's, my SR 9, my BPH, and my 32 y.o. Beretta 92 SB-F. Surprised that I'm having an issue with my SR. Had 3 light primer strikes( they are sitting on my dresser in a small cup).. Otherwise no FTE's or FTF's on any other Centerfire weapons,..somehow a few Crappy Thunderbolts got into the 22LR ammo box load out...had to pick em out after a few mags.....

Casey bought us private lessons for Valentine's Day. SO, today, we are taking the LC9 and both Glocks to the range for some 2 on 1 time with the pro. Hoping I learn something. REALLY hoping she learns something.
