Default Interesting...

Back in '93, I bought a Ruger P89 for just under $350 and sometime later, a P95. I loved both of them and they were flawless. Unfortunately, I ran into hard times and sold them both. I was at a gun show a couple of weeks ago and saw both models used for over $400! Wouldn't mind having one back but not gonna pay more for used goods now than I did 25 year ago.

IIRC, the P-series is out of production. The rarer they get,

the higher the price. I like my P-90. No BS meat and potatoes.

It's got it all where it counts, once you get past the heavy and

clunky.

I would pay more if I wanted one, just like car nuts pay way more for 1969 Dodge Charger now than they cost in 1969 ...

I was watching a person next to me at public range, shooting his P series Ruger. He was nailing the target. I asked him at SEIZE FIRE. how long he had it. He told me he picked up at pawn shop just a few days earlier. I told him it looked like him and that firearm were like old friends ! He just smiled!

Guess there's truth in this statement. It was a damn good pistol.
