i shot only jacketed bullets at one time. Ranier plated bullets seem to work equally well and are available in a hollow point design. If you dissect one as I did, you may be surprised at the thickness of the plating. They are considerably less expensive than jacketed bullets. The accuracy is great.

Good to hear such great reviews on the SR9c. My gun shop doesn't have the compact in stock, been on order since the first of the year, but they are expecting a shipment to arrive soon. My name is reserved on a stainless one, and I can't wait!

They had the SR9 & 40 in stock, but I plan on making a CC out of the 9c. Patience, Patience.

I know that they can be found online, (Buds among others) but I can get it cheaper from my LGS. Besides, as much as I fondle the merchandise, best to buy local when you can.

SR9c is one great CC gun, have one and luv it. Dependable, accurate, great trigger, and hi-cap mags. Have over 1,000 rounds with no problems. Just make sure when you get it you clean all the packing grease out of it, including the striker channel. There is a video on the Sturm/Ruger website which show how.

I love the fact that it cones with the 17rd mag but with my leather jacket that mag gets caught up.
Its a great conceal pistol but I carry it with the smaller mag in it

I have a SR9c, which I carried. I have replaced it as a carry gun with a Shield, because the Shield is easier to hide in Florida. However, I still shoot the Ruger all the time. I think it is a great handgun, great trigger. I have a lot of rounds through it, and it is a great shooter.

Good luck with yours, I think you will be pleased with it.

My full sized SR9 did have this issue a few weeks back, but I think it's more me not being used to a DA only Trigger, but It can also be the rounds being loaded.
After I had a few FTF's everyone had a different answer, The LGS where the 'smith/owner looked at it said 'It must be the ranges' Reloads" and the smith at the Range said "are you shooting strictly Ball or mixing it up?" all I know is last trip I adjusted my grip slightly, and wore my regular perscript. glasses I shot a whole lot better then when When I was just wearing tinted range glasses, and had no Jams at all...

I LIKE it!! Is there a holster that it will fit? I bought one of Ruger's paddle holsters for on the belt and an Old Faithful for IWB carry. Both are comfortable, but wouldn't handle that lite.
