i think if i ever bought a pistol in 10mm, i would definately have to add it to those i reload for! at $33 a box, it wouldn't get shot much unless i did relaod for it!

nothing wrong with the 40 if you like a 40. i personally have had some type of pistol in 40 for over twenty years. just never have had the chance, but the one i really want to try out is the 10mm! the 40 on steroids! yeah buddy!
I've been lurking. It's been crazy here between work & the day to day adventures of life.

Quite frankly I think that the .40s&w is being totally overblown! the end game after all about shot placement and I therefore stick with the venerable 9mm proven over 100 years In both military, police, and civilian applications. This bigger caliber and gun goofy macho recommendation though is very s however, very informative and entertaining!!! Lol

I have 3 Glocks and a S&W 4013 in .40. Its a good caliber but maybe not my favorite. Then again I'm not sure I have a favorite! No problem with having multiple calibers, the more the merrier. Don't have a 10mm yet though.
Just counted and I have 9 different handgun calibers (including .22 LR).

i'll be honest, i have liked the 40 since buying my first over twenty years ago. i have had some pistol in 40 since then. i still like the 40 and still enjoy shooting it, as does my wife. i also have many other pistol calibers including the 9mm. and i agree, shot placement will trump caliber any day of the week. some people like the 40 and some don't. i happen to like the 40 and make no apoligies for that.

Bought my first .40 this year a SR40. Good gun and shoots well, but it will be my only .40. I just shoot 9mm more and have 6 - 9mm's in my collection. I just held off for so long on the .40 and all my cop friends have them, so I found a good deal on the SR and bought it. My wife doesn't like the .40 at all. She is so used to shooting 9mm out of our glock 17. Ok by me because.we always have fun at range together. I wish pricing was a bit cheaper for .40 rounds though.
