I have a 22/45 that I've shot several thousand rounds through. It's accurate and very reliable. I shoot it more than all my other weapons combined. Mine is an older w'out the grip panels nor is itr drilled for mounting optics. I've been thinking about getting a 22/45 lite and mounting a red dot site on it. MK3, 22/45, 22/45 lite, all are excellent choices that will last a lifetime.
Anyone have a speedloader for those clipazines? They are kinda hard on fingers without em.
I’ve used a small Rx cap or a soda bottle cap. If you put it over the ‘tab’ and you can push it down the side of the magazine. Those help a lot. I’ve also used a spent shell and pushed the ‘tab’ down with that, but being round, it's harder. Now I have an ERGO ‘Thumb Savor’. It’s a little plastic thing expressly designed to slide over the magazine and it makes it easy to push the tab down. I think it cost a couple of bucks.

You don't even need a band saw. I think you could just drill some holes in a line in a piece of plastic. The one below using hardware can load two magazines at a time.

I've got the same one and it was too tight - required filing and still doesn't work as well as the wing variety.
I kinda like the one that loads two at a time. Great idea - would like to try it.
I wore my thumbs out in my youth w MK I growing up. I had 3 mags and needed a few hundred more. (two survived to this day - they were made of metal then.)
I've got this one. More expensive than the others, but it really speeds up the reloading process. Sometimes I lose track of how many rounds I've shot until I'm almost out of ammo. It really makes for a fun time shooting cans or other moving targets.
