I paid 1100 dollars for my German P226r, but I got it on sale at he base. They cost over 2000 dollars at the German store. Guns are more expensive over here, with Sig handguns being the top tier. For AR15 platforms, Hk is the top model. You will pay over 3000 for an HK MR .223, even more for 308 version.

I love my 226 .40/357Sig. The U.S. Coast Guard carries Sigs in .40 S&W.

I'm probably going to sell a RIA 22 TCM Micro Mag 9mm. Either private sale or to LGS.

Why?

Because they sell for that price and are worth it.

Besides...why buy your own when you can look at our Sigs here!

I have that in 40. I've never regretted buying it ever.

Here's the skinny.....I questioned a few forums before I made my purchases. I spent hours on the web reading pros and cons. I considered S&W, glock, sig and beretta. I wanted a full size 40. Everyone on the forums said, and I'll paraphrase here, " buy what fits." I had my mind set to buy an M&P. went to LGS, sales person said buy what fits. So I held them.had in hand a Kimber,Bersa, beretta, S&W, Taurus and a sig. Maybe not in that order, but sig last.when I picked up that exquisite piece of metal, I thought this is what everyone is talking about when they say "fit", when I raised it, it came up to a natural point of aim. When I gripped it and regripped it, there was only one way to hold it, when I pointed it, it was aimed. The only reason I put it down was to reach for my wallet, choice made, not the M&P, the p226.

I have a M&P VTAC. I love it. It fits.

Guess I will have to see if the P226 fits. Cuz the RIA does not.
