If I thought it would drive down the price of the 220 I would be more interested. Hell, the 224 still hasn't made its way to stores yet, so this will probably be a long time coming anyway.

The way they roll out their new models we probably won't see any in consumers hands till middle to end of 2013.

I also expect it to be slow arriving for sales in 2013 but hope to see some good pics of the final version at the 13 SHOT show.

THOUGHT THIS WAS OF INTEREST.

According to a manufacturer's model listing, the P227 Carry SAS will also be revealed.
The P227 is likely to be offered in three models, a full-size P227 with a 4.4-inch barrel, one with and one without night sights, and a 3.9-inch Compact SIG Anti-Snag model with night sights. SIG's SAS handguns are dehorned, with the sharp corners rounded off, and are inteded for concealed-carry and come without a Picatinny rail and with night sights.

I read that from guns.com we should be able to see promo products at shotshow.

I have 2 220s, I wonder if the slides will be interchangeable? I'd like to see a tactical model with a threaded barrel, but either way I'm excited about it.
