I think you've broken it in. Cruise along!

100 rounds of remington thunderbolt 40 gr. No failures.

After 250 rounds of some decent and less than desirable ammo, no issues. Running 100%

Im not sure if it makes a difference but when I bought it I looked a the shops selection of mosquitoes and picked the one that had the smoothest working slide.

Clean that barrel - Thunderbolts are very very dirty.

Will try and clean it again tonight. Prob be a few days b4 im home so have to wait and see how my other ammo shoots later. So far so good.

Ok question. How close is this gun to a 226. My only other sig is a p238 which I carry sometimes. My maine carry is a colt defender 1911 45 cal. I love the looks and heritage of my colt but really starting to like this mosquito and may buy another sig next year for a mid size carry piece.

Ergonomically, pretty close. The grip shape and the overall contour. Inside, the P226 barrel unlocks from the slide, not fixed. A 226 will be heavier, but will kick more.

Keep us posted with how your mosquito continues to function. I would like to get a little .22 at some point and I love my P229 so I'd like to stay with Sig. Seeing as you have had zero issues with yours, I'm feeling confidant in that as a possible choice.
Looks like many of the problems with them are a failure of the operator to know the firearm and follow the manufacturer directions.

Yea my wife has the ruger sr22 which is very well built and maybe better than the mosquito, but I didn't like how it fit my hand. I am super happy with my skeeter. My only advise is the look over a few b4 buying the first one u see. I think there are some that fit and feel better than others. I did find a used one $60 cheaper but was worried about buying someone elses piece of junk. All else fails, read the directions.

Went out and put another 100 rounds of cci mini mag hp through it. Did have one not feed right. The bullet made it in the barrel just not in all the way. I racked the slide too quickly to notice if it was just a defective bullet or not. So far everything is good. Cleaned up and ready to shoot some more.

Not a big deal. Usually when the chamber is gunked up, or your hand rode the slide into battery, or the bullet sitting a little askew, or sometimes who knows. If it happens again with certain ammo, there's a simple trick, give it a puff of RemOil to reduce friction.
