Slide lck
 

Anyone have a solution for my slide lock not locking back after my mag is empty. Sig 1911

Buy better magazines. Wilson combats or tripp research are most excellent. If that fixes it,throw the old ones out or save for range duty.

Had a similar issue with my SIG 1911. I found that the slide catch wasn't lubed well. I cleaned and lubed it well and had no problems since. A thin coat on the entire slide catch did it.

I happen to find the SS SIG magazines are of relatively good quality so after checking it out and cleaning the mag I looked to the slide catch.
