Sweet. I love my 226 it's a phenomenal. I was never a fan of the three day trigger on the mosquito. That has kinda pushed me away a bit.

I bought a 2022 9mm diamond plate with night sights, out the door price was $419. I shot several boxes of ammo through it and fell in love. I am not a huge fan of the diamond plate stuff, but it was a Sig with night sights for $419, that was a buy for me. I have since gone back and gotten another 2022 basic in .40, and only paid $399.
I like these guns so much that I sold off my Glocks and now carry the 2022 everyday.

I really like the 2022 but the mags are outrageous. Around my area if you find one under 45 dollars you are getting a deal. I replaced it with a fnp 40 and am just as happy but I really like the 2022.

I recently purchased a 2022 in 9mm. The mags are expensive. I've looked at the Mec Gar 17 round mags, but the complaints are "pinky gets pinched because the mag doesn't fit flush". Has anyone tried putting the factory pinky extension on the Mec Gar magazine? You can pick these mags up for $28.

I have had mine for a couple months now. It was a little rough at first. The slide fit to the frame was super tight and stiff. I polished the feed ramp, chamber, and barrel. I am ordering a steel guide rod and it should be just as good as my old Glock. I bought this as a beater gun that I didn't care if it got dropped and scratched up and it has become my EDC.

I just got one of these and have not had it to the range yet, but it feels and looks good.

Ok you all talked me in to it. I picked up a new 2922 yesterday. This is my second and I can assure you this one will not go away.

Congrats on the purchase. That was my first and I still have it. Great all around firearm. Enjoy it.
