Default Sig Sauer Stainless Steel Guide Rod

There is a gentleman out there making stainless steel guide rods to replace the plastic crap that newer Sigs have been shipped with.

Now, I have not had any trouble yet with plastic rod in my P226, but if given an option of replacing it with a beautifully machined piece of stainless steel for under $20, I'm there.

I have never met this gentleman and never spoken to him. All our communications have been by email. He shipped promptly and accepts Paypal.

If anyone is interested in his contact info, let me know and I will provide it.

Nch,
Didn't bother with a picture...its a nicely machined guide rod made of stainless. It came in, I put it in my P226 and went to the range. It doesn"t shoot different, didn't expect it to.

Just one less piece of plastic to fail.

If anyone decides they want one, drop me a PM and I'll give out contact info.

Look into SpringCo, it's a recoil reducing steel guide rod.
