The Sig is not available here locally, I'd have to "Order" it and pay a transfer fee,..the other two are both available locally in the same shop...except the EMP comes with a Laser in the grip. I already have a 9MM with one,so those grips might get changed out...the SCCY's I have handled have "Very Stiff" slides.

I carried a Sig 228, 40 Cal. for 10 years as a duty a duty weapon double stack 12 round magazine. Great weapon, but hard to conceal. I carried my Sig 239, 40 Cal for over 14 years, from a secondary weapon to my off duty and now my favorite retirement weapon. It is a much easier to conceal.

I own two 239 sigs one is 9mm which is one of my carrys guns it rides in a iwb desantis holster no problem carrying it and I shoot it well feels perfect for me . The other is a gun of the month gun 40 cal in brite stainless that's a safe queen. The weird thing with me and sigs I shoot the shorter barrel guns better 232 230 239 vs 226 and 229 although I do shoot the 225 good as well. I guess im just backwards.

I have had my 239 9mm for several years. Reliable and accurate. Easy take down. Only slight drawback is its weight but the weight reduces recoil and eases target acquisition for follow-up shots. Overall great firearm

I have carried a Sig 239-40 since 2000. I carried it as a backup weapon and off duty. I still carry it today in a Cross Breed IWB holster. I recently had taken it to Front Sight on a two-day course and operated flawlessly.
