I've carried the P239 for over 6 years now. I carry iwb and find it just right. One of the reasons I picked it was the lack of a rail. I don't really consider the 239 a small gun. Mid size, yes and I can live very comfortably with it.
I am looking at a 239 as well. I have a 938 which shoots great but I'm not liking the SAO. I love the DA/SA on my 226 and the 239 would keep me in that trigger.
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. — Ronald Reagan (1986)
I have the P239 SAS Gen 2 in 9mm. Great gun but I am now trying to trade it for the same gun in .40. May have to sell it outright and possibly lose money to get the .40. But no doubt about it, the P239 platform is awesome. It is a great all around carry option, and more accurate than I am.
