Sig P-238 Safety Recall

Was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of the recall on the Sig P-238??

All these firearms recalls based on safeties that fail. Kinda puts a chink in the argument about Glocks not being safe because they don't have a manual safety.
Just reinforces my stance that keeping your booger picker off the bang switch is the only true safety.
Thanks for sharing. It's the first I've heard about it.

The recall was posted July of 2009. Hopefully people have already figured this one out.

The affected serials are all posted on the Sig site. The recall is for a relatively small group.

This does not affect ANY of the 27Axxxxxx serialized pistols.

As previously mentioned, carelessness with any firearm is a Very Bad Thing.

My serial is begins 27B. This problem is old news.

Anything between DA000501 and DA003216 call sig. Especially if the gun is new to you.
