I had ordered a Sig laser from Sig 6 months or so ago and mounted it on my P226 Elite .40. It would turn off after every shot. I called Sig and they sent a FedEx return label for the return . They sent me a new one and the same thing happen, it would turn off after every shot. Sig sent me a FedEx return label and then refunded my money after I returned it, so I lost nothing. I've had Sigs for 20 plus years and this is the first time I've had to return something, so I guess I'll stay with Sig. But I won't buy a laser light from them again.

I and several others have the Lasermax guide rail sight and no one's had a single complaint. I've had mine 2 years now on my G27 and used it several times and it worked flawlessly. They're pricey, but have worked well and are internal, so no special holster is needed. Also, you don't adjust them. I've had my P228 for 25 years and my son's dept issued him the 226. Sig is a great company and make great firearms, but obviously there's a problem with their lasers.

Well I sounds to me like they're farming out the manufacture to a 3rd party and their QC is crappy. So it would be shame on SIG for putting their name on a crappy item. Maybe they should contract with a top tier company that makes laser aiming devices to match the quality of their firearms.
