I've had my Sig 1911 Scorpion 45cal. Threaded barrel for a year. 2,000 + rounds with ball & hollow point, cheap & pricey competition ammo & no problems. I recall 3 mis feeds the first 100 rds. After that NO issues what so ever. Love it!!!!

Wait a minute. Did we actually find a firearm that has unanimous overall approval? Not one single, "It's a POS" comment?

I'm just kidding, but this is so unbelievably rare this must be one heck of a gun. It almost makes me want to go out and buy my second one. Good job Sig. You have accomplished something that very few are able to do.

Mine is a Sig Ultra Two-Tone and I love it. After I bought it and shot it I sold my Colt and Kimber...Nothing wrong with them at all...I just found the 1911 I want to stick with.

I have had 3 customs over the years that were built to my specs by a Pistol Smith, the most expensive was one built for Bullseye Competition and it cost $1800.00.
I have come to realize over the years that there is quite a bit of coin dropped on the aesthetics as well as functionality of the weapon. The Sig although lacking the eye appeal of many other Big name manufacturers has a consistent reliability to function that is required for a weapon used for protection without unnecessary cost. It is still sexy, but not as much as some others.
