removing barrel on my P230
 

One question for P230 owners: The barrel on my p230 is locked in place with a DOUBLE pin (a smaller pin inside a larger pin). I have both size pin punches. Should I remove the smaller pin FIRST, or remove them both at the same time??? Thank you in advance, for any advise to my problem.

Welcome to FTF. Why are you trying to remove the barrel?

Hello to Mountainman13,
Had to remove a "step" between the frame ramp and barrel ramp; Hollow Points kept "hanging up". The barrel ramp was a "tad" higher than the frame portion of the ramp. (A gentleman on another Forum explained how he did it. - I just followed his advise and it turned out perfect.)
One question to you or anyone: Do you happen to know the different sizes of roll pin punches I would need, to completely dis-assemble my P230?

I've never really measured them.
Something like this should get you through. If you look through the site you may find a better set with a hammer.

I will order them today... Took the reworked gun to the range yesterday... Absolutely Fantastic... Shot 4 different types of ammo... No problems, "what-so- ever"... It's a different gun, all together... Very, very happy, the way it turned out !!!
