Default P250 slide locking

I just got a p250 compact used from a friend. Took it to the range and shot 100 rounds of federal ballisticlean 125 grain. Question I have is every so often (5 in total) the slide would lock without feeding the next round... Is this a common issue for the p250 or does anyone have an idea why this's über going on?

Be more specific! Is it locking to the rear with the chamber open after firing the round. Or is it locking up in battery (Slide Closed).
If it is locking to the rear it may be your grip. You may be contacting the slide lock with your thumb when the recoil occurs. Causing upward preasure on it and locking the slide to the rear on occassion? This is not uncommon if the grip is not correct!

Ya, round fires. As the gun cycles it locks to the rear with another round waiting to be feed in. I'm a left so the slide lock would have to be pushed up with the webbing of my hand. Good thought though didn't consider that part
