So what do you mean by smoothed out? I only have about 400 rounds through it so far, and I am getting 4 inch groups of 8 at 25 yards now. But with ammo so expensive and hard to find after December I have had to not shoot nearly as much as I wanted to.

You started with a winner of a firearm! Idk about dude, but when my pistols "smooth out" after breaking in, trigger is smoother (as is the action), springs are broken in for smoother function, etc. every firearm has a break in period. In the face of these horrid ammo prices, get some snap caps. The more times you actuate the trigger, the smoother it gets.
