What's up people..I'm new in here, I'm one payment and a background check 10 day wait period away from picking up my first pistol for home defense.. I decided on the Sig P229 40S&W ..after testing one out I fell in love with this pistol..can I get some feed back from any sig owners about this gun?

Welcome aboard. I thought only Pelosi, Feinstein, and Willie Brown could own handguns in your area.

I own a 220. Sig makes good stuff. Congrats on your choice.

I love the P229. I had one for a while but sold it to get into another project. I still miss it.

Congratulations! Now, be sure you have some shooting glasses and hearing protection. If you are REALLY strapped for cash, hit Harbor Freight (Home of C-C-C Cheap Chinese Crap) But they DO usually have amber tinted safety glasses for a couple of dollars, and ear muffs for a couple more. They will do until you can get some good stuff.
