That is the same thing I do. I love how well the P239 handles and how easily you can conceal it. It is light weight and points naturally. If I do not have my P226/229 or my 1911 I carry my P239 in 9mm.

Yes they did it was supposed to be out on the market sometime this past summer.

I talked to one of the major gun shops in the area and I was told that they are already on backorder by a minum of 6 months. I would love to get one of the new P224's in 9mm as a back up to my 226 or 229 which are also 9mm. I would like to get it in the DA/SA when it comes out.

P224 has an alloy frame, and its sa/da action, but no manual safety or decocker. Looks pretty sweet for a sub compact.

Anyone know about the Sig nightmare ? Had that baby in my hand last week and it was like magic. I totally forgot about the Kimber I had been looking at.

You can't go wrong with the P239.

Not sure if I am going to get the Sig Nightmare or a Para USA Classic P14-45 Pistol w/Light Rail for my next 1911.

Love the Sig line of pistols. Yet I have always wanted a high-cap 1911.

I've heard alot of not so postive reviews on the para line. I know sig has a great rep as far as quality and performance. The nightmare will be my next carry gun. I'm also looking at the p220 .

Default Good guns

I have two 239s and like them equally. They are compact enough and big enough to fill the bill. You didn't address calibers and I suggest that you give a serious look at the .357 Sig. I also have a 229 in that caliber as well as a baby Glock and they are nice.

For me, after almost 20 years, and trying almost everything out there, the Sig P239 9mm is the best carry gun I've found. I tote it in a Tueller Holsters IWB #1 and it tucks in just right. Scary accurate and damn if it ain't to hell and back reliable too; just like they say.http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x354/joelnmary/Firearms/SigTueller_zps527476db.jpg
