the lighter spring definitely helps, but mine still won't cycle with Federals, Winchesters, Eleys, or the like.

Lotsa small .22s are ammo sensitive. Try ammo it likes, and shoot a couple of bricks for thorough break in.

I think you'll love it after that.

One thing I've noticed with my Mosquito is with FTE there appears to be a bit of grit in the breech end of the barrel. I'm wondering if lightly polishing it would solve the problem. Anyone have any thoughts in this?
