Default Follow the tests of a prototype

If you want to follow a prototype during its tests, you can do so here:

http://ballisticradio.com/

It is a Salient mk25. They are testing to possibly introduce a new firearm next year.
So far...sweet!

It sure looks a lot like a Sig 226. Other than slide cuts, what makes this a "new" firearm?

To clarify, this isn't going to be the new firearm. I don't think they are releasing to much on their plans currently.
I believe Salient usually does mods on firearms. I would guess this information would give them a better idea of what works and what doesn't for whatever they are planning.

I had the same issue with wolf recoil springs getting caught under the guide rod. I don't know how the gun kept functioning with the recoil spring caught under the guide rod. When the recoil spring got caught under the guide rod it took around 50 rounds for me to figure out what was happening. I couldn't empty a magazine without the gun jamming. Yet his gun only malfunctioned once in 4,122 rounds despite the issue with the recoil spring.
