I'm ok with the long trigger pull. it gives me a second to "make sure" that I need to pull the trigger. Thats why I made the P250 my CC peice.

Exactly why SIG did that. That's the only safety mechanism on the gun.
I just got back from shooting. Finally got to shoot my S&W M&P 15, S&W Bodyguard 380 & Taurus 24/7.

Sigs seem to be addicting for me.My first was a W.German 220 that three others(I know them all) have owned,a great shooter, well worked over by it's pevious owners.Next came a W.German 229 Sport, factory comped X-series,a real tac driver and great pin gun. Then I went for a STX 1911,ordered ,waited 6 mo. for its arrival and have not been disappointed.Day before yesterday my newest Sig arrived agter waiting over a year,a P210 Legend Target. What a thing of beauty it is,and a real joy to shoot.

I respectfully disagree. I'm not going to put my finger on the trigger until I decide that I'm going to pull the trigger. Once I decide, I want a short crisp trigger pull.

And you should do that with your SA...a DA offers you the other method....that IMO, is what a DA or Striker-Fired is all about. I personally, would not want that added mille-second to position my trigger finger before the pull.
