Carried P239 in .40s&w for a bit and found it to be heavy for only having 7+1 rounds. It was a good shooter but snappy (.40s&w), I would go with a 9mm. I sold mine 2 months ago, they hold their value. Just my two cents.

Yep.. I have a P239 and carry it often. I also have a crimson trace laser guard on it. Sweet pistol!

carry a P229 SCT 9mm in an Comp-Tec Minotaur IWB everyday and it's not bad at all. Just make sure you get a good gun belt. I used to carry a P238 and you really forget you're carrying it. But decided to go with a little more fire power in the P229. 15+1 is nice.

I carry the p229 DAK .357sig in a Comptac MTAC mintotaur iwb. Long name! I wear this holster in jeans and a cheap Uncle mikes when in shorts. The mTAC makes you forget its there. Uncle mikes is horrible

I use a three gun rotation depending on where, when, etc. A P224, P239 and the old standby P226. All 9mm and all DA/SA. the P224 is a nice compromise of accuracy, concealability, and capacity (15 rounds with extended mags).

I own a Sig P239 in two tone Stainless. VERY concealable. I put some Hogue grips on it, and they feel like butter. You could also buy the 10 round mags for it, if you'd like a bit more firepower.

I just picked up a 290rs for ankle carry. G26 IWB, Ruger LCP in the back pocket, and 290 on the ankle. I'm loving my 290rs. The grip is like crazy glue. Long but not unpleasant trigger. A long trigger is okay by me for SD carry.
