Default Which upright entry level gun safe to buy?

My wife says I need to buy a gun safe before buying a defense shotgun and an ar-15. Not looking to spend a crap ton. I just want an entry level safe for a couple of Lon guns and maybe a pistol and ammo storage.

I'd recommend a gun locker. Inexpensive and will satisfy the wife. Won't protect from theft, but then neither does a safe for very long.

Look at Stack-On, they come in many sizes, inside is modular, they are inexpensive and available in a lot of big box stores.

Ok thanks. If the BG gets to the safe that means that we are dead or subdued which will not happen.

I have a sentry 14 gun. It is a nice little safe and was under 400 when we bought it several years back...not the best out there bUT much better than a stack.on locker....although I would like one of those to lock up hunting and sporting equipment.

The safe only has to last long enough for the

alarm system to text you.

I bought a wincester 24 gun safe at Tractor Supply for $618 out the door. The cannon was nice but I like the storage panel on the door on the wincester.
