Interesting Thing I Heard Today
 

My son-in-law works for a local pipe company. He was telling me how many people have come in recently buying short sections (4 foot, etc.) of their Big Blue PVC pipe (blue sewer pipe) and various end fittings. He finally asked one of the customers as to why the sudden demand for this in the shorter lengths...the response he got was "I'm vertically burying it to hold some firearms and ammo". :eek:

I never would have never guessed that had I not been told. :confused::confused:
...anyone else heard of folks doing this? I guess this pipe is the ticket for doing this due to how its made. I have no clue...just thought I'd share it.

If it ever came to the point that you had to hide them, you should have already been fighting back...

Burying your firearms vertical is an old trick. Makes it's profile smaller to a metal detector, and harder to find.

I saw this often in Iraq. Wanna really drive someone nuts? Use a stake, drive holes in the ground about a foot deep, drop in a bottle cap. If the detector bleeps, they gotta dig.

Shot 22 brass works as well. Its pretty common in Iraq as well to do this. Iv also seen guns hidden in the rocks inside their wells
