think they won't develop rust in those soft fabric gun cases? think again! they will if kept there long enough. i had to clean quite a few that had some serious rust on them that were stored in soft fabric cases.

do what you want, they are your guns not mine. so much easier to pull it off a rack, lightly oil it and put it back.

Axxe i got a good deal on a safe at Academy. I paid somewhere around $350 for it and is very spacious. I threw a few lights in it and im thinking about wiring all of them to one switch. Also got a liberty door storage thing, its ment for a liberty but with a few minor adjustments and a stapple gun it works just fine. Had it for around 6 months and the humidifier bag is just now needing replacement

a safe is good place to store them of course. but some can't afford a safe, and gun cases, whether foam or fabric are not a good place to store a firearm. a gun rack is a better option if you don't want them rusting on you.
