BTW.. My brother gave me a bunch of those blue rags that you have their under the lighting. He's military and supplies me well with them for my gun cleaning.

My old lady works at a hospital, keeps me supplied too.

Default LED lights for safe interior

Here's what I have. I found the set up at Menard's, a local chain much like Lowe's or Home Depot.

Picture One is the main connector between the plug-in/power source and the first section of lights. I use it as the switch by unscrewing it a bit.

Picture Two is the interior of the safe with the lights off, just the room lights.

Picture Three has the lights on. And yes, it's about that drastic off camera as well.

Picture Four shows the lead from the power source and the in line fuse. I could probably hook that somewhere a bit better.

Picture Five is the product I bought. The cost of that unit was about $32 here in the Great Central Plateau. I should have purchased the next step up, with two light rope sections, but I wasn't sure this was going to work as I planned.

Oh. I re-did the interior of the safe prior to installing the lights. Factory interiors seem to waste so much space. I have to put in another cross-member to store more long guns.

I'm at that embarrassment of riches stage where I may have to buy another safe. A collector's work is never done...
